How to book with us

How does the booking process work?


Depending on your activity, the booking process could be different:


  • Daily rentals: high season is a busy time, it is strongly recommended booking in advance. We ask for a full payment through our booking system. When booked in advance, the meeting at the shop is faster (we only check you in,  walk you to your equipment and brief you) and you avoid waiting in the line. We recommend booking at least a week before, but a few days ahead work as well. Don't forget to check the weather to choose the best day to visit us.


  • Shore excursions: setting up your excursion using our booking system is effortless and fast. We ask for a 50% deposit, and we charge the remaining balance on site. Choose transportation, date and time, and you're all set.


  • Weekly rentals: our gear is shared with daily rentals, booking in advance ensures you to have the best equipment ready for you. A full payment is required. Delivery is an option.

General conditions:


  • In general, don't forget to check on the weather before booking when possible. Kayaking and/or paddleboarding are outdoor activities, are related to the wind and could require some skills. During the first quarter of the season, we have winds called trade winds, and they can blow up to 20 knots.


  • As our spot is protected from the open ocean, it allows kayaking and paddleboarding almost all year long. When booked in advance, your rental can be always postponed because of bad weather. Some people can find the weather windy, but we never let you go if we think that it's not safe. No refund will be issued if the activity is safe (even on a windy day). We are the only one with the ability to appreciate the situation.


  • In case of serious bad weather, heavy rain or stormy weather, and if no different date can be set, we proceed to a full refund.


  • When you book on the website, you receive a notification by email. Of course, you need to enter a correct email address, please double-check it before booking. Don't forget to add a WhatsApp number, as it's sometimes easier to reach you for a last-minute update. If you don't receive our email (within seconds when you book), check your spam folder.

Cancellation policy


We have different cancellation policies depending on your activity:


  • Daily rentals: If you can't make it to our location for any reason, please let us know before, a refund will be issued as follows:


  • 100% when advised 48 hours in advance
  • 50% if advised a minimum of 24 hours in advance
  • No refund when advised on the same day or no show (unless there's an ongoing protest or roadblock)


We will hold your equipment during an hour and if we don't hear from you after that delay, we reserve the right to rent your kayak or paddleboard to other customers if necessary.


  • Weekly rentals: as travel restrictions evolve constantly, we try to be flexible. Try to let us know as soon as possible if you get positive to the COVID, if you can't make it to the island or for any other reason. As the equipment is tied up with our daily rentals, you can't cancel when arriving at the island and get a full refund, we will refund only 50% of the total payment.


  • Cruise ship customers: different situations, different refund process.


  • Full refunds will be processed when your vessel can't stop at St. Maarten's pier or any other situation that you can't control: road block, strike, etc...
  • If you are positive to COVID, you will be refunded. Please let us know in advance
  • When you arrive at our location, and you want to avoid doing the activity, there won't be any refund if the weather is fine.
  • If our driver can make it to the cruise pier and wait for you but there's nobody, the deposit will be kept.
