Tour description:
You will begin the day from the small fishing town of Cul de Sac. After a short briefing on the beach you will set out into the calm of the turquoise waters. Here you will be on the lookout for sea turtles, which can be spotted coming up to the surface to breathe. Majestic spotted eagle rays can also be found gliding underwater here.
Next we will stop at Little Key, a unique uninhabited islet that is a popular roosting ground for brown pelicans. From here you will paddle to the beach at Pinel Island where you will meet Isa, a marine biologist who will teach you all about the unique marine life to look out for on the underwater snorkeling trail. Whilst on the trail you will use your newfound knowledge to identify fascinating marine habitats in the vibrant coral reef and beds of sea grass. If you are lucky you might catch eagle rays, stingrays and sea turtles lurking below.
After snorkeling you are free to swim or relax before kayaking back to Cul de Sac. Then we will finish the day in style with a free tasting of local Ma Doudou rum punch.
