Ze Caribbean Race 2014

On March 1, 2014 took place in Guadeloupe the longest running Standup Paddle race, 60 miles downwind in the blue waters of the Caribbean !

Ze Caribbean Race, for those who do not know, is a Standup Paddle race between the island of Guadeloupe and Marie- Galante . This 60km downwind race is open to 2 categories, Standup Paddle and Surf Ski . Best paddlers coming from the whole world respond to this race become legendary !

Ze Caribbean Race is tropical premier event on the international calendar of Standup Paddle 2014 to be missed under any circumstances!

The course:

Starting range clear in St. Francis at 8am Check beach hotel strong flower sword down the fort Gosier To participate in Ze Caribbean Race 2014 , the organizing committee has scheduled a qualifier session on Sunday, February 2nd.

The organising committee Ze Caribbean Race ensures optimum safety of competitors : a boat paddle by coach or team is included in the registration fee but be careful , some items are the responsibility of each:

• a lifejacket
• a leash in good connecting to the float
• a towing rope 5 meters
• a whistle and a reflective marking means
• a flare
• drink and enough food to cover the route given refueling points (approximately 1 liter of water per hour of travel)
• identification bibs provided by the organization

Volunteers, if you are available for a few hours between February 26 2014 and March 1, 2014 , you are welcome !
